What is Ohm?

Ohm is a resonance breathing lamp that guides your breath using light, sound and haptic touch. By holding a small sensing stone and breathing with the lamp’s rhythm, your body naturally shifts toward a calmer, more regulated state.

Who is Ohm for?

Parents. Professionals. Athletes. Anyone who wants to feel more regulated, less reactive, and more in control of their internal state. If you want your body to work with you instead of against you, Ohm is for you.

How does Ohm actually work?

Ohm uses light-based sensors to read subtle signals from your body in real time. It adjusts the breathing cadence and light pattern to help you enter resonance, the sweet spot where your breath, heart rate, and blood pressure fall into alignment. This is the mechanism behind improved HRV and the feeling of deep calm.

Is this just another meditation device?

No. Ohm is a training tool for your nervous system. You’re not zoning out or chasing vibes. You’re practicing a physiologically measurable skill that builds resilience over time.

What does the blue light mean?

Blue is the visual indicator that your body is shifting into a parasympathetic state, meaning you’re regulating instead of reacting. Think of it as your internal “calm” signal made visible.

What makes Ohm different from apps and wearables?

Wearables track. Apps talk. Ohm trains. Ohm gives you a physical practice instead of another screen. And instead of reporting your stress after the fact, it helps shift your state in real time.

USING OHM

Do I need to know how to do breathwork already?

Not at all. Ohm is built for beginners and experienced breathers alike. The lamp shows you exactly how to breathe, and the stone responds to your biometrics by adapting each session to your body.

What is “resonance breathing”?

Resonance breathing is a specific, slow breathing pace (usually around 5 to 6 breaths per minute) that maximizes heart rate variability and activates your parasympathetic system. It’s research-backed and used by clinicians, athletes, and elite performers.

How long does a session take?

Most users start with 3 to 5 minutes. Over time, many build up to 10 or 15 for deeper shifts. Even two minutes can make a meaningful difference before a meeting, bedtime, or stressful event.

Do I need to use the app?

No. The lamp works beautifully on its own. The app gives you session insights, a view of your trends, and helps you understand how your nervous system responds over time.

Is Ohm safe to use every day?

Yes. This is gentle, physiological breathwork designed to be supportive, not intense. You can use it once a day or multiple times depending on your routine.

Can I use Ohm before sleep?

Absolutely. Slow, paced breathing naturally quiets your system and supports a smoother wind-down. A lot of people keep Ohm on their bedside table for exactly that.

Do I have to hold the stone the whole time?

Yes. The stone’s sensor needs contact with your hand to read your body’s signals. It’s light, comfortable, and designed to feel grounded like a river rock.

What kind of data does Ohm collect?

Ohm collects biometric signals like your heart rate and breathing patterns so the lamp can guide you effectively and the app can show your progress. Your data is encrypted, stored securely, and never sold.

Can kids use Ohm?

Yes, with supervision. Slow, paced breathing is safe for children and can be a great tool for emotional regulation. Many parents use Ohm as part of the bedtime routine.

Can the stone be used alone? Can the app?

The stone is designed to work together with the lamp, but many people have surfaced the idea of a travel use case and portability is something we’re exploring. For the initial release, a screenless experience is the goal, so the app will not support a practice without the lamp. However,  expect the app to evolve with the needs of Ohm users over time.

Does it require Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

The stone connects to the lamp via Bluetooth, and the lamp syncs to the app via Wi-Fi. Once everything is set up, you don’t need to think about it again.

Can I use Ohm if I already practice meditation or breathwork?

Definitely. Ohm can deepen your practice and give you clear physiological feedback you likely aren’t getting elsewhere.

Can multiple people use the same Resonance Lamp?

Yes, multiple people within the same office or household can use the same lamp. Initially each user will need to connect their Bluetooth-enabled device to receive the corresponding data. If you are using the Resonance Lamp without a screen, no action is required.

Can I integrate other apps I’m using?

At launch, the Ohm Analytics app will be limited in its ability to integrate with other apps and devices. However, we expect that to evolve as we receive feedback from users. Any integrations would be introduced in order of impact and value.

Is the deposit refundable?

Your initial reservation deposit is fully refundable at any time before final payment is processed and the product has shipped. Keep in mind that should you choose to cancel and then reserve once again, you may enter in at a higher price point due to the tiered preorder incentives.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

When will I receive my Resonance Lamp?

The Resonance Lamp is expected to ship in Q3 with a target of August. Users who preorder receive updates via the private community as well as in email. We understand preorders can feel like a long wait, but we’re dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience from day one.

Will I receive status updates along the way?

Absolutely. There are two ways to receive production updates: via email or within the Ohm community. We know people are very excited so we remain committed to transparency every step of the way.
